RC Makers Reach Their Goal on Giving Tuesday, Preparing for Global Robotics Challenge

This year’s Giving Tuesday campaign for the RC Makers team saw incredible support from the Robert College community, surpassing the team’s fundraising goal of $7,000 and raising a total of $7,200. These funds will be used to rebuild the team’s underwater robot in preparation for the 2025 MATE ROV World Championship in Michigan, USA.

The generous contributions will enable the RC Makers team to continue developing innovative robotics solutions for projects focused on real-world challenges like ocean cleanup and reef restoration. With this support, the team will represent Robert College and Türkiye on the global stage.

The RC Makers team extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed. Their achievements are made possible by the continued support from alumni and donors, who play a key role in helping them reach new heights.

We will continue to share updates from the RC Makers team as they participate in the competition and progress toward their goals.
