Adam Oliver

Head of School

Adam Oliver joined Robert College in 2019, following leadership positions at state and independent schools in England and Italy. During the past seven and a half years as Vice Principal and Head of Schools at St. George's, an independent school in Rome serving the British and international community, he helped students achieve the best results in the school's history, significantly outperforming global averages.

Nilhan Çetinyamaç

Turkish Director & Associate Head of School

Nilhan Çetinyamaç is the Turkish Director and Associate Head of Robert College, with 32 years experience in education. She joined Robert College in 2015, after 18 years at İzmir SEV Schools as an administrator.

Ümran Üngün

CFO & Associate Head of School

Ümran Üngün joined Robert College in 1980 as the Director of Business & Finance, following a leadership position at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, US. Ms. Üngün currently serves at Robert College as the CFO and Associate Head of School.

Margaret Halıcıoğlu

Dean of Student Affairs

Margaret Halıcıoğlu came to Robert College in 1991 as the Director of Music. Previously, she worked in state schools in the North of England, teaching Music, English and French. As Music Director, in addition to leading 2 choirs, she directed and produced 2 musicals a year, one for the Middle School and one for the High School, including “The Sound of Music”, “Calamity Jane”, “South Pacific”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Grease” and “Fiddler on the Roof”.

Maura Kelly

Dean of Faculty

Maura Kelly joined the RC community of learners in 1999 as an English teacher and went on to lead as the English Department Chair for nine years starting in 2011. In the fall of 2020 she started to serve as the Dean of Faculty while also staying in the classroom as a teacher of AP Language and Composition.

Tanol Türkoğlu

CTO

Tanol Türkoğlu joined Robert College in August 2018, following executive positions at several national banks in Turkey. As Chief Information Officer at Şekerbank, he carried out digital transformation projects as well as deploying new delivery channels between 2002 and 2014. During 2014 and 2017 he completed data center and core banking software infrastructure transformations at Alternatifbank as Chief Operating Officer.
