Aziz Lav was born in Istanbul in 1932. After attending primary and secondary school in Istanbul, he graduated from Robert College, and then went to the United States and studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. After graduating from university, he returned to Turkey and started his career at Mobil company, where he worked until his retirement. He married Fatma Neşe Lav in Ankara in 1959.
Aziz Lav, who gained the love and respect of the people around him throughout his life, passed away in Silivri on July 23, 2023. He is survived by his sons Osman and Ömer. Four days after his death, his beloved wife Fatma Neşe Lav passed away.
