Hüseyin had an indomitable joie de vivre even during the most challenging of times. In fact, when he left us after a valiant fight with leukemia on the morning of September 18, 2021, he still had myriad exciting projects in mind. His positive spirit never waivered.
Upon graduating from RC, Hüseyin went on to get a degree in industrial engineering at the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ), where he also completed his graduate work. His disciplined, inquisitive spirit, his infinite quest for knowledge, his determination and positive outlook, his love of music and his wish to find creative, practical solutions to daily problems stayed with him throughout his life. For his friends and all who knew him, he was a warm, loving, trustworthy person, a genuine safe haven. He is survived by a son and two daughters as well as, two grandchildren who were by his side. His colorful personality will live on in our minds and hearts.
