Toygun Yılmazer, CSO of the advertising agency TBWA\Istanbul, partnered with Oksijen newspaper and Ipsos research company to organize the Culture Next 2022 Conference, the first of an annual conference series that aims to highlight the top five cultural shifts. Each year TBWA publishes a Cultural Edges report that highlights cultural shifts shaping the world. Yılmazer was curious about the shifts that will have the biggest impact on Turkish people and partnered with Ipsos to design a trend relevancy research project among Turkish early adopters.
The findings were announced at the conference that took place on June 21 with 500 attendees from the marketing industry. The five biggest cultural shifts were Circular Aftermarkets, Liquid Reality, Mind Maintenance, Stealth Mode and No More Gender Rules. Oksijen journalist Elif Ergu, Serdar Kuzuloğlu, Zeynep Miraç, Ayşegül Çoruhlu and Levent Ertem discussed the implications of these shifts with their guest speakers Olcay Silahlı, Ahmet Usta, Itır Erhart, Erhan Ali Yılmaz and Tolga Çevik, respectively.
