My dearest father Ahmet Durul passed away on May 8, 2021. After graduating from RC, he achieved great success with AgencyPars, which he founded with his friends. They merged with McCann Erickson and became the first international ad agency in Turkey. In later years, he worked as a marketing coordinator at Evyap. With Parkinson's, his life changed. He dedicated his life to youth and started giving MBA courses on marketing communication and branding at Galatasaray and Yeditepe Universities. He wrote three books. His beloved wife Ayşe continues to console his Twitter followers by sharing his wisdom. He was a successful businessman, a wise teacher, a husband deeply in love with Ayşe, a great friend and father, and an elegant man. His life was about looking beyond our materialism and learning to appreciate our individual selves.
