We lost dear Ali Hoş on October 28, 2022, a kind, real, warm-hearted soul, who we feel privileged to call our friend. In 1988, Adil İzci entered the first class of our Orta 3A year. He pointed to Ali and said “I recommend that you meet and go onto know this gentleman well … he is as likeable as his surname!” The memories are like sunlight through the trees. The summer football hours, the physics lab desk turned into a pro-level pingpong table, his smile, and always welcoming gaze, considerate and caring approach to all details, endless discussions on philosophy and cosmology, years of continued friendship is what will remain with us and just as Bâki wrote, “…bâki kalan bu göz kubbede bir hoş sadâ imiş.”
Our dear friend is survived by his wife Tuba and daughter Selin. We wish patience to them and to all of his family members.
