Our beloved Beyhan passed away on September 24,2021. A friendship of sixty-five years abruptly ended unexpectedly. Our connection continued from Prep 1 to the Senior years. Years later, we’d still laugh at our mischievous acts in the dorms. It’s been very difficult for me to lose her. — Sirel Şahenk Tontaş | Dear Beyhan, we'll be missing you and our frequent lunches! Your witty conversations, your efforts to please and your devotion to family was so outstanding. We will never forget our dear archaeologist friend. — Ümit Necipoğlu Davaslıgil | She was very precious to me. We met often for coffee and lunch. We also enjoyed outings to nearby destinations with our classmates. All of us loved her friendly and witty nature and enjoyed her company very much. — Seres Başak Ener | She is survived by her husband for 52 years Özkan Şahin and her son Ali Şahin.
