Mehveş joined our class in the Freshman year after graduating from the English High School for Girls. She looked noble both in spirit and appearance and was politeness personified. She was always kind, considerate, calm and serene, She took part in cultural activities and was very successful in class plays. Later in life, she represented our country as an ambassadress for many years. She always remained close to her friends and was regularly present at the monthly luncheons of our class.
She passed away in her residence on June 1, 2022, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son Suphi, daughter Serra, grandchildren and her sister Ayşegül Sarıca.
