Metin Borahan passed away on January 16, 2023. After receiving his bachelor’s in civil engineering from Robert College, Metin went to Canada where he worked for several years. He was sent to Jordan by a Canadian company to help build the Queen Alia airport. When the airport was finished, he returned to Turkey where he worked for a while. When his health no longer permitted him to work, he settled in Antalya, where he lived a quiet life for the rest of his days.
Those who knew Metin loved him. He was a true gentleman and a kindhearted person.
Metin Borahan is survived by his wife Oya, son Cem, daughter Suna and grandson Tarık. He was predeceased by his son Ali Talat.
