Moris Amon RC 73

Moris Amon passed away on October 10, 2022. After graduating from Boğaziçi University, Moris went on to the University of Delaware where he received his PhD in chemical engineering. A holder of numerous patents, he worked as a technical director at companies such as ExxonMobil and Avery Dennison before founding his own consultancy in 2010.

Moris was an accomplished violinist and played throughout his life, having learned when he was a child in Istanbul. He played in community orchestras everywhere he lived and was most recently a member of the Suburban Symphony Orchestra in Ohio for 16 years, up until his death. He was also an avid chamber musician.

Moris Amon is survived by his mother Eda Amon ACG 44, wife Terry, sons Avi and Jeremy, daughter Sabrina, grandchildren Noa and Vivian, brother Victor Amon RA 68 and sister Deniz Horada.
