Muazzez Bayraktar passed away on February 22, 2022. Following ACG she studied philology at Istanbul University American Language & Literature Faculty. Her first job was at Çamlıca Kız Lisesi, then marriage took her to Ankara. She worked as an English translator and teacher until she retired. She was always admired by her colleagues and was one of her students’ most beloved teachers. She was a wonderful, modest and kind person, full of positivity. She cracked up everyone around her with her humor. She followed the motto "make the most of your time, for life is short". She lived fully, was loved tremendously and will be missed greatly. She was a very jolly person and will be remembered by her unique laughter. She is survived by her two sons (Nazım and Yaman Bayraktar) and two grandsons (Cem and Emre Bayraktar). - Contributed by her niece Esin Uslu Helvacıoğlu RC 80
