Our dear friend Öner Gürdoğan passed away on October 10, 2021. At the beginning of his education, Öner went to Galatasaray primary school. He entered Robert Academy in September 1954. He graduated from Orta in 1959 and RA in 1962. After high school, he entered the engineering school of Robert College. Both in RA and RC Engineering, Öner was the goalkeeper of our class football team. He also adored the sea and fishing. Everybody loved him in our class. He was a very good friend. After graduating as a mechanical engineer, he worked in Atlas Copco, among other companies, in top positions. Then, he opened his own business, specializing mainly in imports. The economic difficulties in the last years hit him somewhat. He retired from work. He spent his last years with his friends. He is survived by his three sons, Ahmet, Mehmet and Ömer.
