Selim Göle RA 71

Selim Göle (Baba Selim) passed away in Izmir on July 5, 2021, due to cancer. Selim, who was our classmate as well as the Class of RA 70, was popular among his schoolmates for his friendly and humorous personality. He was a regular player on the RA soccer team and a member of the Varsity Letterman Association. After graduating, he studied German in Germany then studied international marketing organizations at Johannes Kepler University in Austria where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees. His main social activities were soccer, playing bridge and listening to music. On his return to Turkey, he started his career at Unilever and climbed up the ladder in different companies until his retirement in 2012. He is survived by his wife Marine and his sister Ferda. He'll be remembered by his favorite Elvis song, "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" and one of his late messages “Gracias a la vida.” Contributed by A. Levent Alpay on behalf of RA 71 Friends
