Suzette, Sue, Shoshie, Suzie Q, Shoshannah; you called me Emily, Emma, Emilika. Our special way of communication, which no one else understood, created with bits and ends from many languages, our special sense of humor which was appalling to many, all is gone with the wind now! I hope you find peace. Days of sun shine
days of rain
we shared so much
we laughed a lot
we fought at times
but shared all
and now after 62 years,
you chose to turn your back, let breath become air and leave the yet unsaid behind
your cushion, once my gift to you, says; “most precious antiques are old friends”
did you take it with you?
be in peace with yourself
wherever you have reached you
“old antique” !
