Robert College’s Community Involvement Program (CIP) and the Apis Mellifera Club recently launched a meaningful project in Manisa, focused on supporting women beekeepers. The initiative aimed to promote sustainable beekeeping practices while educating local women about the vital role bees play in environmental conservation. Students from both the CIP and Apis Mellifera Club collaborated with women beekeepers, offering guidance and sharing eco-friendly beekeeping techniques. This project not only raised awareness about the importance of bees but also strengthened the connection between Robert College and the local community, empowering women in the process.
