An online ceremony was organized to commemorate Atatürk on November 10, the anniversary of his death. After a moment of silence, the ceremony started with the national anthem and continued with a video prepared by the School Spirit Initiative. Following addresses from Turkish Director Nilhan Çetinyamaç and Head of School Adam Oliver, one of Atatürk’s favorite songs was played. History teacher Önder Kaya and a student gave talks, then the ceremony closed with the song “An Autumn Day” composed by music teacher Koray Demirkapı for this special day.
The RC family commemorates Atatürk with respect, gratitude and longing.
