The RC Theatre Company brought the murder-mystery genre back to the Suna Kıraç stage for the first time in years, performing Christopher Walsh’s Miss Holmes on May 2 and 3. Based on the series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle with hints of the recent popular series with Benedict Cumberbatch, the drama featured a female Holmes and Watson trying to make their mark in a resistant Victorian society.
The show was suspenseful, warm, funny and quirky and included a cast of strange and enigmatic characters. The gender switch resulted in a refreshing, provocative new take on the famous series.
