RC Bees Have a Productive Harvest

New residents moved to RC in May – honey bees which arrived as four hives, nestled in a quiet part of campus. These new members of the RC family are part of the environmental initiative and will greatly help support the biodiversity of the campus. Throughout the summer they buzzed around campus and collected pollen from a variety of flowers and plants for their hives. In October 8 kg of honey was collected from the hives. The school hopes to make RC honey available to the RC community in the future.
