Opening Ceremonies Welcome Students Back to Campus

The Opening Ceremonies for the 2021-22 Academic Year were held in the theater due to incelement weather. The ceremony was held twice, splitting the grade levels, to allow for Covid protocols.

Highlights of the day include Turkish Director Nilhan Çetinyamaç offering advice explaining Edward de Bono's Six Thinking Hats technique. Student Council President Idil Çenberci offered her past and future self advice on navigating an RC education. Head of School Adam Oliver spoke last by saying we all must juggle many priorities and projects but realize that you may drop one every so often but it will bounce rather than break. He adviced students to remember to let things bounce.

The ceremony closed with the Robert College school song, prep students singing it for the very first time.
