The Autumn Teachers’ Conference (ATC) was established in 1996 as an opportunity to share or learn about new ideas, teaching strategies or other successful educational experiences with a community of bilingual schools from all over Turkey.
This year’s event, hosted by Robert College, was attended by 1100 teachers from 70 high schools around Turkey. There were over 220 sessions throughout the day on a variety of topics including how to use art and technology in lessons, encourage students’ creativity and motivate students. There were also sessions that highlighted a variety of co-curricular projects at different schools and one session on the redesigning of RC learning spaces. The event ended with refreshments in front of Murat Karamanci Student Center, providing participants an opportunity to mingle and share what they learned.
